    Research & Funding Opportunities

    Advancing research in infectious diseases and supporting members who pursue careers in ID research are IDSA priorities. IDSA offers information on funding opportunities and other career development resources for members at various stages of a research career.

    Continuing Medical Education

    IDSA is committed to providing the tools and resources necessary to stay up-to-date in the field of infectious diseases. Continuing Medical Education (CME) credit is offered through a variety of sources.

    Maintenance of Certification

    Two Maintenance of Certification (MOC) modules - one in general ID medicine and one in HIV medicine - are available from IDSA and HIVMA.

    Fellowship Training Program

    ID physicians can use IDSA’s list of fellowship programs to find the best program for their needs. Other related resources for fellows are available.

    Opportunities for Students & Residents

    An important part of IDSA's mission is to promote the ID subspeciality by attracting medical students to the field.
