The Section of Infectious Diseases oversees inpatient care (ID consult) and outpatient care including HIV/AIDS (in our Center for HIV/AIDS Care and Research), Public Health Clinic (STD), Hepatitis C Clinic, and International Health Clinic (refugee screening, geographic medicine, and travel medicine). Clinical rotations are available with the BUMC Pediatric Infectious Diseases service (including NICU) and the Transplant ID service of the Massachusetts General Hospital. Elective rotation at Cape Cod Hospital is also available.
