The inaugural IDWeek meeting will take place October 17–21, 2012, in San Diego, California. With the theme Advancing Science, Improving Care, IDWeek will feature the latest scientific findings and approaches to prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and epidemiology of infectious diseases, including HIV infection.
The Annual Meeting of IDSA brings together physicians, scientists, and other health care professionals involved in research, patient care, public health, disease prevention, and education in the field of infectious diseases.
IDSA is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education (CME) for physicians. Attendees of the IDSA Annual Meeting 2011 can earn a maximum 39.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
