In the wake of "free antibiotics" promotions at Wegmans, ShopRite, Stop & Shop and Giant, IDSA announces the Society has joined CDC in writing letters urging these national grocery chains to partner with CDC's "Get Smart" educational program addressing appropriate antibiotic use.
