Due to serious concerns that these new and administratively burdensome guidelines could negatively impact ID clinicians' ability to provide outpatient infusions and other ancillary services through their practice, IDSA signed onto a letter urging Medicare to delay implementation of the new guidelines until their potential impact could be analyzed in greater detail. Medicare subsequently decided not to implement the new guidelines. |
