Attend the Advocacy Training and Education Session at IDWeek

IDSA, HIVMA and PIDS will hold an advocacy training and education session at IDWeek 2018 in San Francisco, on Friday, Oct. 5 from 7-9 a.m. CME credit will be offered for this session, and continental breakfast will be served. Please join us to learn more about how you can become involved in our federal advocacy efforts.

The session will spotlight ID/HIV advocates sharing their expertise and experiences with tips to strengthen your advocacy skills and seize opportunities to make your voice heard. The session will also provide updates on our priority issues, including securing the ID physician workforce, combating antimicrobial resistance, strengthening federal investments in domestic and global infectious diseases and HIV research and public health, addressing the intersection of the opioid crisis and infectious diseases, and protecting patient access to care.

To RSVP for the session, please email Lisa Cox,  IDSA Director of Government Relations.
