HIVMA Offers New Resource on Ending HIV as an Epidemic

A new brief from HIVMA lays out key components of the administration’s End the HIV Epidemic initiative, including the 2020 federal funding requests, while also highlighting critical issues that will need to be addressed to achieve the goal of reducing new HIV infections by 90% by 2030. The resource, developed for members to use to educate policymakers and colleagues, is available here for download. The House of Representatives took an important first step in support of the initiative by passing the Labor, Health and Human Services funding bill last week that provides the requested funding for the initiative in 2020.
