Aldon Li, MD, FIDSA, is a dual board-certified physician in internal medicine and infectious diseases. He earned a business degree from Emory University, graduated from Morehouse School of Medicine with a medical degree and started a health care delivery service company before joining Permanente Medicine, where he now serves as the chief of infectious diseases at Riverside Medical Center in Riverside, California. After being appointed assistant clinical professor of internal medicine/infectious diseases at the University of California, Riverside School of Medicine, he actively teaches trainees in the Internal Medicine Residency Program. In 2019, he was honored by IDSA with the distinguished Fellow of IDSA designation. He is a member of IDSA’s Journal Club and practices medicine with evidence and humility. In his spare time, he chases the stars as a self-proclaimed foodie.
