Erica N. Johnson, MD, FIDSA, FACP, board-certified in internal medicine and infectious disease, is the American Board of Internal Medicine’s senior vice president for academic and medical affairs. Prior to this role, she served as the program director for the Internal Medicine Residency at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center and associate vice chair for diversity, equity and inclusion in medical education for the Johns Hopkins Department of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. She remains on faculty at Johns Hopkins as associate professor of medicine (part time) in the Division of Infectious Diseases. She is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and IDSA.
