Dr. Nicolás “Nico” Cortés-Penfield is an associate professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where he serves as medical director of the university's Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy program and director of the Orthopedic Infectious Diseases service. His academic passions are in systematic literature review, medical education and translating clinical research into evidence-based practice.
