Sheila Montalvo, PharmD, CPh, BCPS, AAHIVP, earned her doctor of pharmacy degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and completed a postgraduate pharmacy residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. She currently practices within Memorial Healthcare System at Memorial Physician Group’s Division of Infectious Disease in Hollywood, Florida, and Memorial Specialty Pharmacy in Miramar, Florida. In her role as an HIV and infectious diseases pharmacist, she provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients served by the Ryan White Clinic and Specialty Pharmacy. She has led initiatives to expand HIV education and advance clinical pharmacy services through antiretroviral stewardship and long-acting injectable antiretroviral therapy programs. Throughout her career, Dr. Montalvo has conducted research in both adult and pediatric populations, with a focus on improving HIV medication adherence across inpatient and ambulatory care settings. She is a member of the HIVMA Board of Directors.
