Board applications now open

The call for officer and director applications for the IDSA Board of Directors is now open. We are seeking candidates for the office of vice president and three director positions, with terms beginning in October at the conclusion of IDWeek 2026. 

IDSA’s Board reflects the breadth of talent, perspectives and experience across our membership. As we continue advancing our strategic priorities, we are looking for leaders who are passionate about strengthening the infectious diseases field and advocating for patients. We strongly encourage members at all career stages, including those earlier in their careers, to consider applying. Fresh perspectives are essential to shaping IDSA’s future. We value a Board that brings diverse skills and experience to the table, including expertise in compensation and workforce issues, pediatric care, HIV care, public health practice, private practice, research and education. Leadership experience and prior engagement with IDSA — such as committee service or other volunteer roles — are also highly valued.
