These antimicrobial stewardship practices were submitted by hospitals and reviewed by the IDSA Antimicrobial Stewardship Centers of Excellence Subcommittee, which recommends each as a best practice for others to consider adapting to their own setting. We share them to support hospitals in ensuring and improving the quality of their stewardship programs, reflecting real-world approaches that have shown promise in practice.
