Alecia Muwonge, PharmD, MS, CPh, AAHIVP, is a clinical ambulatory specialist serving as a subject-matter expert for HIV and contributes expertise with interprofessional teams. Alecia completed her PharmD at Nova Southeastern University, Barry and Judy Silverman College of Pharmacy, in 2023, graduating with highest honors. She then completed her residency training at University of California Davis Health in Sacramento, with a focus on ambulatory care/HIV and viral hepatitis. Prior to her time at NSU, Alecia practiced as a pharmacist in Canada, Bermuda and in Jamaica. She also served as a researcher at the Icahn School of Medicine at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. Alecia is passionate about being able to prevent the transmission of diseases through keeping her patients engaged with their care team and improving their access to life-changing medications and services.
