Dima Dandachi, MD, MPH, FIDSA, FACP

Dima Dandachi, MD, MPH, FIDSA, FACP, is an associate professor of medicine in infectious diseases at the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is the medical director of the HIV Treatment and Prevention Program and Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Human Services. She received her master's degree in public health at the University of Texas, Houston, and completed her fellowship training in infectious diseases at Baylor College of Medicine. She is board-certified in internal medicine and infectious diseases. She serves as co-director of the D-CFAR SWG at Washington University in St. Louis, lead facilitator for HIV ECHO at the Missouri Telehealth Network, and deputy director at the Center for Telehealth Research and Policy (C-TRaP). A clinician-investigator, she has served as principal investigator or co-investigator on numerous clinical trials, with more than 50 peer-reviewed publications. Her excellence in research, education and mentorship has been recognized with multiple awards, including the 2025 David & Kathy Morton Outstanding Faculty Educator Award, Research Mentorship Award, Alpha Omega Alpha and the Presidential Engagement Fellow.
