Ronald Devine, MD, FIDSA, has been in private group practice for infectious diseases in Atlanta, Georgia, since 2002. He practices general infectious diseases with an interest in skin and soft tissue infections and bone infections. He also practices wound care and hyperbaric medicine. He has had a long interest in billing and coding and payment policy to improve compensation for infectious diseases physicians. He has served on previous IDSA committees including the Clinical Affairs Committee and the Payment Policy Work Group and is the current chair of the Coding and Payment Subcommittee. He is the current IDSA representative to the American Medical Association’s CPT Advisory Committee and is a member of the AMA Immunization Coding Caucus.
