The McGill Summer Institute in Infectious Diseases and Global Health celebrates its sixth year in 2020. Our courses, during two weeks each June, provide 500+ people from around 50 countries with new knowledge, lively discussions and hands-on learning experiences pertaining to the latest trends in infectious disease treatment and global health. Academics, students, physicians, industry professionals, policymakers, NGO workers, and patient advocates are all part of the participant mix. With 30% of attendees coming from low and middle income countries, the variety of professional and geographic experiences are part of the draw.
The 2020 edition of the Summer Institute features eight diverse courses. Our engaging course structure offers an avenue for attendees to convene, debate solutions, and gain an improved understanding of cutting-edge research methods. Most courses are three days to allow participants to take multiple offerings in combination, and have more opportunities to learn from our expert faculty.
