Contribute Recommendations for Ending the HIV Epidemic

The HIV community, led by the Act Now END AIDS Coalition, is developing a national blueprint to end AIDS as an epidemic. This effort is in response to the administration’s intent to update the National HIV/AIDS Strategy beyond 2020, and the stated goal of CDC Director Robert Redfield, MD, to “end AIDS” within seven years.

HIVMA is contributing to this document, which will be a comprehensive and inclusive blueprint to achieve this goal by 2025, and we are compiling recommendations and perspectives from HIV medical providers. We’re seeking provider input on several areas, including the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program, HIV workforce issues, and barriers to accessing care and prevention services. You can share your input by completing this survey by Friday, Aug. 3 and/or participating in a webinar moderated by HIVMA Chair Melanie Thompson, MD, on Monday, Aug. 6 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. EDT. Click here to register for the webinar.
