The COVID-19 pandemic has brought health disparities to the forefront of public health. In this episode, Emily Spivak, MD, FIDSA of the University of Utah, and HIVMA Vice Chair Allison Agwu, MD, FIDSA of Johns Hopkins University discuss what’s currently being done to reduce the disparate impact of COVID-19 on certain populations and the changes that need to be made in order to achieve health equity.
