Infections in children elective.

 

Beginning in 2009, Baylor will have 2 tracks for adult ID fellowship training.  The first track is the Baylor Traditional ID Fellowship.  The second, new track is the Baylor/ MD Anderson Fellowship Track, a joint training program between Baylor College of Medicine and MD Anderson Cancer Center.  Two fellows per year will be accepted into each track.  Prospective fellows can apply to both tracks simultaneously.

 

The Baylor adult ID fellowship program offers a fully-funded, 1 month clinical elective in international health.  Fellows can choose from a variety of locations with academic affiliations to Baylor College of Medicine, including Africa, Mexico, Honduras, Romania, Thailand, and Peru.

 

Baylor adult ID fellows can do electives in outpatient management of sexually transmitted diseases, travel medicine, and inpatient pediatric infectious diseases.
