NIAID Funding Request for Rapid Point-of-Care Hepatitis C Virus Diagnostics
Notice of Special Interest (NOSI NOT-AI-20-013): Advancing Development of Rapid Point-of-Care Hepatitis C Virus Diagnostics. NIAID and the National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering are awarding grant funds for translational research and advancement of rapid point-of-care diagnostics that test for active viremic hepatitis C virus infections.
NIH Notice of Special Interest: High-Priority Research Topic for PAR-19-070, "Research on Current Topics in Alzheimer's Disease and Its Related Dementias (R01 Clinical Trial Optional)"
This high-priority topic aims to: (1) determine whether microbial pathogens represent a causal component of Alzheimer’s disease (AD), (2) establish mechanisms by which microbial pathogens impact neurodegenerative processes in AD, and (3) inform aspects of future translational studies in AD, including discovery of candidate therapeutics aimed at regulating pathogen-associated networks and molecules in AD. (NOT-AG-19-012).

NIH Loan Repayment Program
Application for the loan repayment program is available for researchers who commit to at least two years of qualified research in the extramural or intramural program. Qualified research includes clinical and pediatric, and NIH will pay up to $35,000 per year of student loan debt.
