Magdalena Slosar-Cheah, MD, FIDSA

Magdalena Slosar-Cheah, MD, FIDSA, is an assistant professor of medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases and Immunology at University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School/University of Massachusetts Memorial Health, where she serves as the program director for the infectious diseases fellowship. Her clinical interests include HIV, hepatitis B and C, and COVID-19. In addition, Dr. Slosar-Cheah is currently pursuing a master’s degree in the history of medicine. She is interested in exploring ways to incorporate history of medicine teaching into the medical school curriculum and is currently conducting research on the dialogue between formal theories of proxemics and approaches to hospital design in the second half of the 20th century.
