Joseph Cherabie, MD, MSc, (he/they) is the principle investigator and medical director of the Washington University in St. Louis Capacity Building Assistance Program and the medical director of the St. Louis STI/HIV Prevention Training Center. They are a clinical ambassador for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s “Let’s Stop HIV Together” Campaign and serve on the HIVMA Board of Directors. Dr. Cherabie specializes in sexual health care with a focus on LGBTQIA+ health, sexually transmitted infections and HIV, all within the lens of medical education. They are the co-author of the Washington Manual of Medical Therapeutics chapter on sexually transmitted infections and HIV and have contributed to the National STD Curriculum.
